- Comfortable, fast drying trousers
- Comfortable cotton clothes
- Warm pullover and/or sweater jacket
- Light jacket without arms with many pockets with zips
- Sun hat with protection for the neck
- Bathing suit/swimming trunks/shorts
- Soft shoes or jogging shoes
Toiletries
- Soap, shampoo
- Comb

- Sun protection with high factor (SPF 50) and lip balm
- Mosquito repellent

Specifically for the Gorilla and Chimp Trekking
- Travel passport (necessary for registration)

- Strong, if possible ankle high trekking shoes
- Clothes for all weathers and warm (leather gloves, wool hat, jacket for rain, rain trouser, hat and sunglasses)
- 2 litres of water, like 3 to 4 small bottles of small water
