Unforgettable 11-day Uganda Safari My girlfriend and I took an 11-day round trip through Uganda, visiting Murchison Falls, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi, and Lake Mburo. The entire trip was exceptionally well-planned from start to finish.

What truly made the journey unforgettable and seamless was our guide and driver, Latiff. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and ensured everything ran smoothly without any stress. We never had to worry about logistics - Latiff had every detail covered and was always ready to answer all our questions.

He went above and beyond to help us spot everything on our wish list, making a special effort to successfully track down leopards for us! Over the course of the trip, we got to see rhinos, lions, and leopards, as well as mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, and various other primates.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Solo Traveller: An unforgettable Safari in Uganda: August 2026 I booked my solo adventure via Tourcompass in the UK which was managed by the superb local company Manya Africa in Uganda. My 14 days safari in Uganda was an excellent adventure and a truly wonderful experience. I, can see why it is called ‘The Pearl of Africa’. It felt like a home coming, with friendly and welcoming people who made me feel at home.

My guide, Joshua P, was friendly and passionate about Uganda and its wildlife. I gained a wealth of fascinating knowledge from him about the animals and birds and their behaviour. All the while, he ensured I felt safe and comfortable throughout the safari. I cannot thank him enough for looking after me.

The early morning starts and travelling long distances from one national park to another was worth every second, driving through breath taking landscapes from magnificent forests, savannahs, lakes, and mountains and I saw incredible wildlife along the way. Uganda is a beautiful country. I had the opportunity to observe elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, gorillas, other primates, and countless species of birds in their own environment in the various reserves, which has left a lasting impression on me.

I would recommend a boat trip on the Nile to experience viewing a variety of iconic animals by the water. Also, a trip to the Source of the Nile in Jinja is a must to witness the start of the mighty river as it begins its flow through Africa.

My Uganda safari was an incredible experience and one I will never forget. Uganda is a beautiful country, and I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure.

The holiday exceeded all my expectations. I left with wonderful memories and hundreds of photographs. I hope to return one day very soon!

Communication was always prompt, very polite, and to the point. Although we only started planning our trip three weeks before our arrival, Hillary managed to accommodate all of our wishes and even secured two gorilla trekking permits for my sons in the Rushaga sector. We were very impressed by how smoothly everything was organized, and we always felt that we were in excellent hands. She was an excellent driver and we always felt very safe with her, even in the sometimes chaotic traffic. Unser Guide hat auch mit aller Ruhe die 100te Frage beantwortet und uns sicher und pünktlich zu allen Trekkings/Safaris und durchs Land gebracht (danke Isaac). Und das große Highlight waren natürlich unser Schimpansen und Gorilla Trekking. ❤️
