Your 6-Day Luxury Fly-in Kenya Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu Game Reserve (Home to Special Big 5)
Transfer to Wilson Airport for your morning flight to Buffalo Springs. Upon arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to Ashnil Samburu Camp, located in the heart of the Samburu ecosystem.
Enjoy lunch at the camp, followed by an afternoon game drive. The Samburu Reserve is known for its semi-arid landscapes, rocky outcrops, and unique wildlife such as the Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, and Grevy’s Zebra.

Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve – Full Day Safari
Start the day with an early morning game drive when animals are most active. Return to the camp for breakfast and spend the mid-morning at leisure, enjoying the views and amenities at the camp.
After lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive exploring the vast Samburu plains, riverine forests, and dry riverbeds. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, leopards, and buffaloes, as well as Samburu’s unique species.

Day 3: Samburu – Masai Mara National Reserve
Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Samburu before transferring to Buffalo Springs Airstrip for your flight to Ol Kiombo Airstrip in the Masai Mara.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Ashnil Mara Camp. Enjoy lunch at the camp before heading out for an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara, home to the Big 5 and vast savannah landscapes.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve – Full Day Safari
After an early breakfast, set out on a morning game drive. The Mara is famous for its exceptional wildlife density, and you have excellent chances of spotting lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes.
Return to the camp for lunch and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy another game drive, exploring different parts of the reserve and spotting wildlife along the Mara River.

Day 5: Masai Mara – Full Day Safari with Sundowner Experience
Start the day with an early morning game drive in the Masai Mara. Return to the camp for breakfast, followed by leisure time or optional activities.
After lunch, embark on your afternoon game drive. In the evening, enjoy a sundowner cocktail experience in the savannah, watching the golden sun set over the Mara plains.

Day 6: Masai Mara – Nairobi Departure
Enjoy a final morning game drive if time permits, then transfer to Ol Kiombo Airstrip for your flight back to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. From there, continue your transfer to your hotel or onward departure from Nairobi.
